As a child of God, you are created to serve
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10).
God made you with a purpose. Before you were born, he already had good works planned for you to do. Serving isn’t just something nice to do—it’s part of who you are as his child.

As a follower of Jesus, you are called to serve
“I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you” (John 13:15).
Jesus showed us what it looks like to serve others. When we follow his example, we make a real difference in people’s lives and show them what God’s love looks like.

As a part of the church, you are gifted to serve
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms” (1 Peter 4:10).
God has given you unique gifts and abilities. When you use them to serve, you help complete the picture of what the church is meant to be. Without you, something is missing!
